VIDEO #11: Leopard is a Neutral

One of our favorite fashion icons, Jenna Lyons, once said ‘As far as I’m concerned, leopard is a neutral.’ We couldn’t agree more. This wild print can be paired with just about everything! As long time lovers of leopard, you can only imagine how thrilled we were for the comeback. Leopard crept onto the scene this past fall and winter, finding its way onto fur jackets, sweaters, scarves and coats galore, but it didn't just end there. The silky leopard slip midi skirt was a thing - it still is. Accessories-at-large also adopted the trend and introduced the print on everything from leather bags to beaded clutches. Jewelry quickly followed suit. We carry more than a few animal print pieces at LILA too - the obsession is real and it continues!

As this season got underway, the print returned in full swing, but this time, taking the form of lightweight, easy-to-style summer pieces and accessories. Think sparkly animal print embellished earrings; dainty scarves to style in your hair or around the neck; pocketbooks and our favorite - the jumpsuit, which we've styled and shared in this video.

Whether you’re looking to get out of your comfort zone or just want to break up some of your neutrals, incorporating a novelty print, like leopard, into your everyday style can seriously up your fashion game. Tune in below to see how we paired this bold print with a bright solid for a truly electric combination!
